Lee Joo-Chian is the fourth generation heir of the Flying Crane branch of Fujian white crane kung-fu. This branch was created by his great grandfather who learned the art directly from its founder Fang Chi-Niang. As an inheritor of a rich family tradition, he is an expert in all types of empty hand as well as armed combat. In fact, the flying crane branch is one of those systems that has managed to preserve its rich heritage including but not limited to the use of more than 18 types of weapons and specializing in the art of pressure point striking. Grandmaster Lee resides In Sibu, Malaysia and continues to teach there and to practice traditional Chinese medicine. He often comes to the west to promote his art, most especially in Canada.

Fujian White Crane Kung-fu is renowned for its fighting ability and influence upon other martial arts styles. Famous for its quick footwork, sophisticated hand techniques and pressure point strikes, the Flying Crane branch (one of the 4 major branches of Fujian White Crane Kung Fu) is a complete system with empty hand-forms, internal and external training and classical weaponry.
This video series records and makes available on DVD a great deal of historical evidence, texts and photographs and features the 4thgeneration heir to the system, Grandmaster Lee Joo-Chian, demonstrating the Flying Crane’s fundamental forms, stances, strikes and applications.
