This kung fu comedy film about Chinatown encounters Little Italy. Although it was shot mostly in Philadelphia, it was based on Manhattan Chinatown and its background. It uses clever comedy techniques to show the experience of Asian immigrants and a series of stereotyped labels.

The movie tells the story of the protagonist Zhou Wenni who finds himself involved in two love stories accidentally. With the help of the Chinese culture and Italian culture in the gangster movies “Godfather” and “Goodfellas”, he fantasizes about the righteousness in his heart. A love story between Li’s dream girl and the perfect Chinese girl next door.

Liang Jinzheng, chairman of the U.S.-China Cultural Industry Center, said that Chinatown’s economy was severely hit by the epidemic last year. As a community non-profit organization, the center has long been committed to the cultural and artistic exchanges between the United States and China and promoted excellent traditional culture. Put it on the screen, as the epidemic heats up, I believe that more people will be brought back to Chinatown.

As the executive producer and screenwriter of the film, Mark V. Wiley, President of Tambuli Visual Media, said that he is a 42-year kung fu fan and a researcher of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture. It is an honor for “Chinatown People” to work together.

Director Robert Samuels is a martial arts instructor who loves martial arts and Hong Kong movies. He said that his knowledge and enthusiasm for martial arts has left a deep impression on Hong Kong action movie star Samuel Hung, and he has also guided Samuel Hung. He received a series of trainings in film directors in Hong Kong.

He said that in addition to the martial arts actors, the film also invited many Chinese guest performers. They were all Chinese living in the Eastern U.S., but they all had “real kung fu.”
