Our special guest today is Sheikh Burhanuddin Herrmann, a contemporary Sufi teacher rooted in the lineage of the Naqshbandi-Haqqani Order—one of the most influential and widespread Sufi traditions in the world. Born in Germany and trained for decades under the guidance of Sheikh Nazim al-Haqqani, he became one of his senior Western representatives, known for transmitting classical Sufi teachings in a way that speaks directly to the emotional, psychological, and spiritual challenges of modern life.

Sheikha Maryam Kabeer’s Spiritual Odyssey

Drawing from her memoir Journey Through Ten Thousand Veils, Maryam shares the remarkable story of her lifelong quest for spiritual transformation—from growing up in the U.S. to studying with masters in Afghanistan, India, Sri Lanka, and Tibet, and ultimately finding a home on the Sufi path of love under the guidance of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen.
