I want to share with you another perfect poem, written by the award-winning writer, editor, martial artist, and novelist Herb Borkland. Please enjoy and share.
The effacing of Triumph
The loss of all regret
This dimming of Enlightenment
Not remembering to forget.
The hopeless ease of Tyrants
Lingering repose of past coquettes
A tradition which includes us
Not just a Past by which beset.
The hope of Heaven – simple
A fear of God – instinct
Determination unto valor
Blood to blood to whom we link.
Extoll your sense of Wonder
The speechless voice now says
Ahead lies all that matters
Prepare for better days.
